Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of poses.pro and the Poses service (“Poses”, “we”, “us”), operated by Novae technologies, a Dubai sole establishment (Dubai trade licence No. 1640581) based in Dubai, UAE. By using Poses you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

Poses uses facial recognition to match a guest’s selfie to the photos they appear in and delivers them a private gallery. Guests take a live selfie; a numeric face template is created and matched; the selfie image is not stored. Features, plans and limits may change over time.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. Photographers/organisers must provide accurate details, keep their password secure, and are responsible for activity under their account. Tell us promptly of any unauthorised use.

3. Plans & payment

The free trial gives you 50 photos for 7 days and needs no card. Paid plans are sold by photo allowance (250, 750 or 1,500 photos), billed monthly in USD through our payment processor Stripe; current prices are shown at checkout and on our pricing page. Plans renew automatically each month until you cancel.

Changing plan. Moving to a larger plan takes effect immediately and you are charged only the pro-rata difference for the remainder of the current period. Moving to a smaller plan takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep what you bought until then.

Cancellation & refunds. You can cancel at any time from your account or the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan continues until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial periods, and payments already taken are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you have been charged in error, or charged twice, email hello@poses.pro within 30 days and we will investigate and refund any billing error. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Reaching your photo limit pauses new uploads only. Albums, galleries, guest face scans and share links that are already live keep working exactly as they are — we never delete your photos because of a plan limit, a downgrade or a cancellation.

4. How long we keep albums

Data retention is tied to your plan. Free-trial albums are deleted 7 days after creation. On monthly plans albums are deleted 30 days after their last activity (last upload or guest scan). If your subscription ends, albums are kept 30 days from last activity before deletion. Moving to a smaller plan never shortens the retention window an album already has. Please download anything you want to keep before these periods expire.

Where your data is held. Photos are stored with Cloudflare R2 in the Asia-Pacific region. Face templates and account data are held on our server in India. Encrypted backups are stored in the EU. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full.

Guests may scan to find their own photos. You must not attempt to match, access or collect other people’s photos or data, or use the service to identify or track others.

7. Your content stays yours

Photographers/organisers keep ownership of their photos. You grant Poses a limited licence to host, process, face-index, compress and deliver your content solely to provide the service. We do not sell your content or use it to train facial-recognition models. The Poses software and brand remain ours.

8. Accuracy - no guarantee

Face matching is probabilistic. We do not guarantee that every photo of a guest will be found, that only correct photos will be shown, or that every spoof/fake attempt will be blocked. The service is provided to help with matching, not to guarantee it.

9. “As is”, liability & termination

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses or loss of data or profits. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or the law; you may stop using the service at any time.

10. Changes, law & contact
